We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Food & Beverage / Events Manager to lead a dynamic team across restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events at an elegant boutique hotel in the heart of Buckinghamshire.
In this high-impact leadership role, you'll blend hands-on operations, commercial strategy, and people management to elevate the guest experience, increase profitability, and build a motivated, service-driven team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations & Service Excellence

Lead F&B and Events operations across all outlets and functions

Ensure high standards of hospitality and seamless event delivery

Be present at key service points—functions, weddings, VIP events

Act as the bridge between Sales and Operations teams
Business & Financial Performance

Increase revenue and optimise profit margins across F&B departments

Implement smart cost controls—stock, pricing, payroll, rotas

Analyse guest feedback and identify areas for continuous improvement
Leadership & Culture

Recruit, onboard and develop a motivated, multi-skilled team

Drive a culture of service, accountability and professionalism

Manage training records, team development plans and HR processes

Support the GM with people matters, compliance, and key business areas
Event Planning & Client Relations

Oversee all aspects of events from planning to execution

Conduct client showrounds and liaise with Sales to convert leads

Build strong working relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams
Compliance & Administration

Ensure full compliance with food safety, fire, health & safety standards

Maintain clear records, reports, and weekly operational audits

Organise, manage and maintain F&B service areas, inventories, and stock
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in hospitality leadership, ideally within F&B and events

A strong sense of ownership, commercial awareness, and a proactive mindset

Experience with POS/PMS systems and confidence in Microsoft Office tools

Skilled in planning, decision-making, and driving team performance

Natural communicator with a service-first, guest-centric attitude

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence
